It has become the leading fashion social network in Europe where more than 6 million users come to get inspired by their favourite influencers and friends’ ready-to-shop content. With over 10 million outfits shared, 21 Buttons allows anyone no matter their audience size to earn revenue from sharing their personal style.

With the company being set up just 3 years ago, we just launched a new project called Looks by 21 Buttons, a new ecommerce /  business unit consisting in a subscription model by which users receive, every month, a box with fashion and lifestyle items selected by their favourite influencers. After seeing the great success it has had in Spain, we are expanding the model to the UK and France.

We are looking for someone as passionate as we are about this project to lead and join our French team at this exciting stage of our company’s journey of propelling our ambition to grow further internationally.

We are looking for a considerate, bright, forward thinking, entrepreneurial and high-spirited individual to join us as French Country Manager at our Paris office and become the primary voice and ambassador of our online subscription business in France. You will manage a dynamic and multidisciplinary team while applying your knowledge across brands, influencer marketing and operations in order to grow 21 Buttons presence in the lifestyle and fashion subscription landscape. You will raise the opportunities and concerns of the market and set the priorities that will grow our sales and customer satisfaction, while executing the 21 Buttons subscription model strategy on the ground. You will be a natural born leader, capable to influence and with an analytical approach to drive decisions. Your communication skills will be exceptional with proven ability to train, support and inspire a team.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership through implementing growth and best practices, identifying and testing opportunities and developing new strategies to accelerate 21 Buttons subscriptions’ growth.
  • Analyse key levers of growth in order to plan a growth roadmap based on your country insights and influencer team inputs.
  • Work with and lead a team with core functions such as Brand Partnerships, Influencer Marketing, Customer Service, Operations and Logistics, to ensure collaboration between all parties is smooth and aligned with the company goals.
  • Ensure there is a healthy pipeline of brands to accommodate product needs while ensuring long term relationships with strategic partners.
  • Optimize the cost of production and deliveries in order to ensure healthy and growing margins.
  • Be the advocate of our users, understand their needs and ensure churn levels are minimized.
  • Control of the country’s P&L while complying with the objectives and budgets set by the management.
  • This role reports directly to the Head of Expansion.

Key Competencies:

  • 9+ years of working experience
  • Experience in B2C ecommerce business models (ideally based on a subscription revenue model)
  • Strong operational experience
  • Highly analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in start-ups and dynamic landscapes.
  • Experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
  • Be a natural born leader with a passion for people, be able to yield the team to get the very best out of them. Hire, motivate, empower and retain the best talent available.
