The Role

We are looking for a SEO Lead to join our Global Marketing team in our HQ.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute SEO programs, including (but not limited to) opportunity analysis, campaign planning, audits and management

  • Support the definition of the SEO strategy, its key initiatives and impact, and working closely with Product Development to define a roadmap for implementation

  • Work closely with technology teams to make sure the company’s infrastructure, architecture, and site features support and enhance the effectiveness of our SEO.

  • Provide tactical SEO recommendations for new product launches, website updates and international expansions, work on implementation in cross-functional teams

  • Stay on top of key trends and best practices in search engine algorithms, competitive landscape and the industry to develop winning strategies.

  • Audit and analyze SEO performance, identify issues, find root-causes, and experiment with solutions to improve performance at scale.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and optimize user experience & conversion funnels

  • Work closely with the Sales team to optimize campaigns and to achieve sales objectives

  • Communicate SEO performance and initiative status to stakeholders in weekly business reviews.

  • Redefine and evolve key SEO performance metrics, identifying changes and problems as they arise.

  • Lead efforts to solve complex SEO problems, moving quickly to implement ideas and deliver results. Dive into issues and incidents as they occur, perform ad hoc analyses as needed, and/or help escalate them to drive to resolution.

  • Own channel execution globally, contributing to company-wide knowledge sharing and engaging with stakeholders to determine optimal SEO improvements globally.

  • Develop relationships with external third-parties to license technology where it makes sense to buy rather than build.

A person in this role should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment and love solving problems and be able to thrive in a startup culture where execution is highly valued. We are always moving at a very fast pace to make sure that users are able to experience the magic of 21Buttons.


What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, product management or related field, 5+ years of experience in SEO at large scale ecommerce or other consumer-facing sites.

  • Proficiency with analytics tools and web traffic reporting including SQL, and ability to do deep data analysis and drive recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Hands on experience with Google and 3rd party search tools.

  • Proven track record in managing SEO projects from inception to completion.

  • Passion for metrics and quantitative analysis, and ability to turn analysis into actionable programs.

  • Strong drive for execution and delivering results.
