The Role

The Analytics & Insights Team Lead will manage high priority projects across the Marketing organization, supporting Marketing programs. This role will work with our Core Business teams to provide critical business insights to help identify opportunities and implement marketing/product improvements. Leveraging operational and analytical experience from challenging environments in the past, this person will manage a team of analysts and will be instrumental in driving our business forward. We’re looking for a strategic critical thinker who can start at a higher level and then dive deep into the details to deliver results.


The ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, experience managing a team, excellent time-management, and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in.


What You’ll Do - Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of highly skilled analysts to deliver key analysis and projects across our Marketing organization

  • Serve as project manager and support your team on the day-to-day execution of their projects, reporting, and other functions your team takes on.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to scope, manage, and execute against projects plans

  • Drive analysis on important strategic decisions to optimize our growth & engagement

  • Measure the impact and efficiency of Marketing initiatives with the aim to optimize investments business impact

  • Develop analytical frameworks and models to help operational new products

  • Identify weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes that drive operational excellence

  • Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting and analytics models

  • Own the Marketing planning and budgeting process

  • Be the lead to create dashboards with highly routinary information that helps the team to make better decisions

  • Monitor competition

Requirements

What You’ll Need - Requirements

  • Significant professional work experience in data science, business intelligence or analytics or Minimum 5 years of analytical experience on investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy, high-growth or startups

  • Ability to be an effective leader managing teams

  • Exceptional communication and organization skills

  • Investigate and get the data that responds to performance opportunities

  • Exceptional Excel / data management skills

  • Proven experience and fluency with SQL and at least one major data science and statistics language (e.g. python, R, SAS) to be tested at interview

  • Expertise in predictive modelling, including both parametric (e.g. logit/probit) and non-parametric (e.g. random forest, neural net) techniques

  • Business intelligence experience working with data warehouses and very large data sets

  • Previous experience with reporting and visualization using Tableau or other similar data visualization and reporting packages
