The Role

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to help scale our growing business. The DS will be a key member of the Global Insights and Analytics Team working with Performance, Strategy, CRM and Product partners to understand user behavior and improve marketing and business performance. The Data Scientist works with unique data and translate it into high-quality and actionable insights to improve the effectiveness of our efforts and unlocks business opportunities.

What You’ll Do - Responsibilities

  • Interface with business and marketing stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can deliver solutions to improve marketing performance and unlock business opportunities

  • Design, develop and implement data models and algorithms to measure the impact and efficiency of  marketing initiatives with the aim to optimize investments business impact

  • Analyzing user behavior to identify and prioritize marketing opportunities that drive global growth

  • Building data models for user segmentation and churn prevention

  • Perform user journey analysis, including lifetime value and paths to conversion

  • Manage and provide data-driven research and insights to unlock business opportunities

A person in this role should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment and love solving problems and be able to thrive in a startup culture where execution is highly valued. We are always moving at a very fast pace to make sure that users are able to experience the magic of 21Buttons.

Requirements

What You’ll Need - Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of advanced modelling techniques: Time Series, Logistic Regressions, Decision Trees, Neural Networks

  • Proven experience in applying these techniques to real problems

  • Proficiency with an advanced analytical tool (Python, R, SAS, etc.)

  • The ability to manage large data sets using SQL/Phyton/R

  • Understanding of marketers’ challenges through relevant job experience is highly desirable

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with others with diverse skill sets
